I received the Healing Haircut from Mari and I had to say it was completely worth having the experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect or what would come up with the healing experience so there was a bit of nervousness going in. Mari was patient and made me feel completely comfortable and I really felt that I was seen as a soul free of judgements, accepted for who I am. I definitely felt like I shed a lot of held in emotions and unresolved subconscious blockages I’ve struggled with the past decade and the effects lingered throughout the week ahead. She followed up multiple times since then to check in and I greatly appreciate her for caring so much. I can say the haircut itself turned out perfect but the healing aspect made it unforgettable. When I moved to Montrose a few years ago I searched Yelp for a salon and stylist. When I called Chateau Salon and inquired about something called the “Healing Haircut” advertised on the website, Mariana took my call and invited me into the salon for this service. Truthfully, I was struggling emotionally due to loss of family members and because I was facing a series of upcoming surgeries.
I was overwhelmingly surprised by the “full experience” of the Healing Haircut. It was a balance of conversation and thoughtful releasing of my grief and fear. I left the salon feeling clear and peaceful and had the best haircut I have had in my life.
Each time I return for any service Mariana offers it is full of kindness, sharing and laughter – like having lunch with a good friend.

I had the most amazing experience with the owner of the salon – Marianna Bayramyan. After much research, she offers a Healing Energy Haircut and she’s definitely an expert at her craft.
For those of you who don’t know what healing energy is, take a chance. Before my appointment, she asked me to set my intention as to what I am letting go and releasing – such as negative thoughts or energy caused by experiences in the past that holds you back from life.
Once I did, I spent 30 minutes washing my hair and I felt the negative energy being cleansed and then she cut my hair. I went all out and cut 7 inches of my hair. Go big or go home was my mentality and I needed a change. During the cut, she said to really concentrate on my intention of what I wanted to let go.
And wow, I am truly impressed by her expertise and my hair looks great! I look and feel younger, confident, beautiful, and lighter! My friends have raved about my haircut and how great it looks on me! I highly recommend Marianna and will be going in again for my next cut!
It looks so good that my 2 friends now want to go to this salon to get their hair colored! Talk about results! I can’t wait for my next appointment!

My experience with having my Healing Haircut, was a total relaxing experience of my body and soul.
It was a wonderful time, of peace, tranquility, and pampering of my being.
From the moment I sat, I felt your soft guiding voice as though I had enter a realm of peace.
As you started my shampoo, and began the process of massaging my scalp, I felt toxins leaving me slowly. Each breath I took with your direction, my tension began to decrease.
When you began my haircut, I heard the sound of your scissors. Each strand that you cut, I felt weight coming out of my head, and body.
As a result, giving me a feeling of well being and tranquility .
After, many months of constant stress that sometimes happens. I had become part of the stress it self. I never gave my self time to heal from one event to another.
I felt I was in a drowning in a pool of anxiety.
Therefore, I thank you, my hair feels and looks better. Moreover, I feeling better, my thoughts are clearer. You gave me the gift of peace and tranquility in a session of a Healing Haircut. It was an amazing venture!

Before my healing haircut I was feeling tense. I was holding energy. I was feeling inadequate and stuck.
I cleared my mind as much as possible and went in ready to lay down the burden of perfection.
The ceremony at the hair bowl was amazing. As Annissa did the meditative process I relax into a place full of peace. I forgot where I was as I sank. After the shampoo process we went to the chair to trim the weight off my hair and my soul. I felt lighter and lighter as Annissa cut away my hair, I let go of the old ideas.
I left feeling lighter and able to engage with some challenges at work that I had been avoiding in my stress. I recommend the healing haircut service. It is a way to bring the sacred into daily practice and feed your soul.

What a vibe! From the moment you walk in, you feel great energy from this tastefully curated salon. I’d say it’s Brooklyn meets Boho chic, and it works. The GEM of a place also offers Healing Haircuts!
I honestly couldn’t believe this type of thing existed. Getting a haircut has always been a bit emotional for me, and to get a cut while you’re guided through this beautiful ceremonial emotional release was pretty powerful. She clears the salon for a private, intimate experience, soooo amazing! I’m still feeling all the feels from it.
